Provincial legislation requires that some of Trust Council’s decisions must be made through the adoption of a bylaw.
Trust Council bylaws address significant topics such as the adoption of the Islands Trust Policy Statement and many administrative decisions including those related to the annual budget, meeting procedures and delegation of powers to other bodies.
